Rezumat

Quality education is a historical stake assumed and resolved in specific conditions by any society, from premodernity to postmodernity. Nowadays,, quality education tends to become the strategic solution needed to solve the " societal challenges" " cultural and political, economic and community challenges registered in the postmodern, contemporary era. Such a strategic solution requires the definition and analysis of quality education at the level of a fundamental pedagogical concept, built epistemologically, not as a pedagogical slogan, circulated with predominantly ideological means. In this perspective, quality education effectively contributes to the affirmation of a new paradigm in education policy, determined at the level of restructuring the relationship between education and society. Quality education is a national, strategic and innovative priority insofar as it has the ability to anticipate the development of society in the medium and long term.
