According to the UN sustainable development goals for the period up to 2030, the training system should provide all categories of the population with equal opportunities for access to vocational guidance and training throughout their working life, regardless of the income level of the population. However, in rural areas of the Republic of Moldova, not all categories of the population have equal access to professional educational services, which is reflected in the growth of unemployment. The study reveals the current situation in the NEET (Persons Not in Employment, Education or Training) group, which is represented by young people aged 15-29 who are not part of the employed population, do not study in the formal education system and do not participate in the non-formal education system. |
