Rezumat

Goal: The Covid-19 pandemic had a major impact on the organization of studies in higher education institutions (HEIs). Distance learning was the only possibility to continue the educational process, since March 2020. Cloud computing, online learning platforms and video conferencing applications, whose use was quite limited in HEIs, in the conditions of the pandemic with Covid-19, have become the main assets for conducting online studies. The research was based on making recommendations for increasing cyber security in e-learning conditions. Common recommendations include updating systems and managing security patches, implementing access policies at the application or resource level, classifying information, and using cryptographic protocols. Design/methodology / approach: To inform students and people about cyber security on internet, we rely on the support of professors from the Faculty of Information Technology and Economic Statistics, also welcome informal courses given by Moldovan IT companies, participation in competitions organized by various countries that offer internationally recognized participation certificates. Finding: Consultations from teachers / residents of the innovative incubator in the field of cyber security and recieving help from IT companies from Moldova (Endava, Stefanini, etc.). Limitations/implications of the research: Lively participation of instructors, college students, and younger humans inquisitive about the IT area, remarks within the form of a document on any instructional activity that took place on the university, announcements published for educational spots. Practical implications: Prepare a cybersecurity incident response plan. Develop a plan that alerts the right person in your institution to contact in the event of a breach, figure out how to remediate systems to stop the incident and decide more generally how you’ll respond to a cyberattack. Create a plan proactively that’s tailored to your specific needs and address preparation, detection and analysis, containment, eradication and recovery. The value: To induce hobby in those who still do not realize what the IT area hides, to involve students from the college and university in various academic activities, participation in initiatives, competitions (for instance: "convey your enterprise to the Incubator", "Cybersecurity" , "Hackathon", "GIS Day" and many others.), and involvement in numerous tasks with IT organizations. Acknowledgment: Present research was evaluated under the guide and with the support of COST CA19136: NET4Age-Friendly the main aim and objective of which is to establish an international and interdisciplinary network of researchers from all sectors to foster awareness, and to support the creation and implementation of smart, healthy indoor and outdoor environments for present and future generations. The results will contribute to solving problems and actions carried out within the COST CA 16226, Indoor living space improvement: Smart Habitat for the Elderly (SHELD-ON), this way creating a better society for everybody.
