Rezumat

In the ICT field of higher education has not been the same development as in the economy and trends in the digital economy. The infrastructure of high institutions is very different. The poor financial situation doesn’t allow the use of modern hardware and software as to keep talented young people in education staff. To meet the market demand for ICT professionals we need to change our educational approach based of our national reality. One possible way to improve the professionalism of university graduates, in accordance with the requirements of the labor market of the digital economy, could be an approach to the model of dual ICT education in high school. We analyze this approach in higher education based on the relevant European experience as well as thinking about how to implement it based on the Moldovan reality and the specifics of our economy. We also take into considerations the experience gained in dual vocational school education implemented in our country under the mentorship of the Moldovan Chamber of Commerce.
