The article deals with the problem of polysemy of German verbs, forming analytically the past tense (Perfekt and Plusquamperfekt) and the difficulties in choosing the auxiliary verbs “haben or sein”. German verbs of movement create serious problems for the learners in using them in speech. The article touches upon different approaches to the determination of the theme and the attempt is done to compare how this problem is solved in the textbooks, written by Russian and German authors. Considering the polysemy of the perfect forms, the author suggests three types of speech situations, where the verbs of movement can be used. |
