This article analyzes the possibilities of using longread as a storytelling method in the process of mastering students' communication skills in the process of foreign language learning. Modern education determines the study of effective ways of mastering the language competencies relevant for modern foreign language teaching. In the light of the development of modern means of communication, the role of writing in learning a foreign language is increasing. Improving writing as a skill in the structure of speech communication requires modern methods and techniques. Longread as a type of storytelling method is one of the most relevant methods in teaching a foreign language. The use of longread as a method opens up new opportunities for teaching writing, activates the cognitive activity of students, contributes to the effective development of writing and the formation of foreign language competence in general, giving students the opportunity to receive, find, consolidate and analyze the material themselves using Internet resources. |
