Rezumat

There is little scientific information regarding the concomitant evaluation of the effect of ecological plant protection products on against diseases and physiological parameters of crops. The aim of this work was to determine the response of leaf nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and relative water contents in tomato to application of biorational protection product Carbecol alone or in combination with humic substances Ecolit. A greenhouse experiment was conducted in triplicate by employing distinct treatments of both Carbecol (6 kg/ha) and biofertilizer Ecolit (3 l/ha). Results showed that application of protection products increased the content of leaf nitrogen (by13,1%) and potassium (by 11,6%) in leaves, but they did not change significantly the concentration of phosphorus. The highest nutrients concentrations were registered in treatment with integrated application of Carbecol and Ecolit supplemented with 0,5% of cupric sulphate. Higher infection with P. infestans decreased the nutrients contents in untreated plants. The application of ecological product Carbecol alone or in combination with biofertilizer Ecolit had the least impact on relative water content in leaves. The yield of tomato fruits increased significantly in treatment with combined application of both products. Hence, the integrated use of plant protection substances in organic legume production could be an option to promote durable agriculture.
