Submission for recognition is a major criminal investigation. The results of the recognition, carried out in strict accordance with the provisions of the law criminal proceedings, are considered evidence, and the minutes through which the results of the presentation mate-rialize for recognition is a means of proof. Undoubtedly, the probative value of the minutes of presentation for recognition is conditional on the extent to which it is corroborated with the other evidence and means of proof administered in the criminal case. Submission for recognition is one of the most effective methods of identifying animals or material objects that have been used to commit a crime or other objects that relate to the objective side of it. |
