Rezumat

The borderline pathology implies the presence of important difficulties in the object relations, related to the instability of the image of the internal objects, important difficulties of symbolization, disturbed relations with the entourage and with oneself. In the transference-countertransference relationship these characteristics of the borderline pathology will manifest through unstable relations, anger crises, depressive manifestations (A.Green, 2000, R.Roussillon, 2002, P.Fedida, 2002). At the same time, the transference-countertransference relationship allows for a gradual organization of changes, at the structural level, which makes it possible to improve the patients' condition. Several clinical vignettes presented in the report will provide a clearer perspective on possibilities and limits in the context of psychotherapeutic practice with borderline patients.
