Rezumat

Trauma is a complex phenomenon, not only through its manifestations and dynamics during an individual's life, but also through its transgenerational dynamics. Trauma is transmitted by inheritance - it is one of the conclusions of studies by psychologists about various historical, social, psychological contexts and cataclysms (Freud, 1913, Lebovici, 1998, Kellerman, 2001, Kogan, 2007, Alford, 2015). In this study, deportations from the Moldovan SSR are analyzed retrospectively, both through interviews (Petrencu, Cojocaru, Padureac, 2014, Cojocaru, 2016), as well as through clinical material brought to the psychotherapy process. The content analysis of the testimonies of deportees in interviews highlights transgenerational messages marked by frozen emotions and unrealized mourning. The clinical reality developed in the analytical process reveals that in case of deportations, the initiative of a psychotherapeutic confrontation with the traumatic event lies with the descendants. The analysis of the clinical material presented in the article reveals the need for the descendants of the deportees to try to integrate personal history into a transgenerational familial history and to escape the destiny programmed by virtue of the transgenerational transmission of trauma.
