Vine growing is one of the main directions in the agriculture of the Republic of Moldova. Vineyards occupy an area of 148 thousand hectares, of which 108 thousand hectares are used for commercial production. The remaining 41 thousand hectares are vineyards cultivated in villages, on land next to houses used to make homemade wine. The average yield obtained is 5.3 tonnes/hectare for technical varieties and 6.7 tonnes/hectare for table varieties. In addition to planting and irrigating the cuttings, the vines need to be treated to make them fruitful and keep them healthy. The best such treatments are foliar fertilizers, which are applied directly to the leaves of the vines and take effect quickly and safely. These can be used as a treatment for vines, depending on the needs of the plant and the deficiencies it has. Vine treatments with foliar fertilizers can be applied regardless of the vine variety. They are sprayed on the leaves and solve specific problems. In order to produce tasty and healthy grapes, it is necessary to choose the best quality foliar fertilizers that ensure the success of any vine production. In this context, in accordance with the Program of testing, annually elaborated by the "State Centre for Approval and Homologation of Products for Phytosanitary Use and Fertilizers" for the first time the preparation Fertiactyl GZ was tested. The application of the foliar fertilizer Fertiactyl GZ has a positive influence on the productivity and quality of Pinot Blanc grapes. The sugar content is increased by 2-3%, vitamin C by 3.9 mg/l and the total acidity content is reduced by 1.1‰. An increase in grape production of 3.3 t/ha (11.0%) is observed compared to the leaf-fertilised control. The preparation Fertiactyl GZ can be used as foliar fertilizer on grapevines in the dose of 4 liters per hectare in two treatments and it is recommended to be included in the "State Register of Phytosanitary Products and Fertilizers of the Republic of Moldova".
