The factors that generate domestic violence are very numerous and they are emphasized by their complexity. Domestic violence stays at the origin of the most difficult social problems of communities, but the proportion of the phenomenon is underestimated by statistics, both on national and international levels. Domestic violence has become a global problemspecific for almost all the countries in the world, that is well concealed and disguised through many false representations about the traditional role of men and women in family and society. Domestic violence still remains a hidden tendency. As long as domestic violence is being ignored, allowed to continue its secret and devastating existence, we cannot speak of a real social policy, looking forward -290- Revistă teoretico-ştiinţifică to individual and family life of a high quality. No matter how much we try to study this phenomenon, we would not eradicate it completely, and the main cause is the presence of hidden information and lack of transparency in studying the problem of domestic violence.
