International migration of population from Botosani County, causes and effects. This article seeks to highlight some important aspects of the migration phenomenon in Botosani county population, a problem that has grown in the last two decades. Before 1989 and today our county a major source of migrant domestic oriented industrialized regions of Romania, to the capital, or to neighboring counties, we can mention that, at the time when the phenomenon of people here already had some experience migration. Nationally, Botosani county is dynamic, but in Europe is characterized by the presence of migratory flows with economic motivation, to the last census in 2011, amounting to 14.297 people migrated temporarily and 13.354 left for a final. If at this time the effect of shortterm migration is positive (in financial terms), long term consequences will be catastrophic for the development of the county. Our compatriots, current international migration, can be viewed as an opportunity or as a resource. They can be, by importing know-how, an engine (both desirable) of economic boom, which could benefit (hopefully) in Botosani county population.
