This commentary is dedicated to the scientific research of the conditional release of a detainee from prison. Such legal institution is regarded as a category of release from criminal punishment, in other words – release on parole (on license). If a prisoner on parole commits an offense during the period of his original sentence, he may have to serve any part of the original sentence still outstanding. In such cases limitations are imposed on his right to be considered again for parole. Some problems regarding release on parole were submitted to a profound analysis in order to make easier their interpretation. Some useful recommendations were suggested.
