The aim of the paper is to highlight the methodological content of the development of strength motor skill by using the circuit method in the Physical Education class for the 8 th grade students. The study was conducted at Măldăeni Middle School of Teleorman County with a wor k group selected from the 8 th grade students (8 girls and 8 boys). Regarding the means system and the application methodology, these ones were achieved by dividing the class of students into girls and boys, creating different circuits (for girls easy di fficulty, for boys medium difficulty) and choosing an average circuit with 8 workstations. The fitness tests used were selected from the National School Evaluation System for Physical Education and included 7 tests. The circuit work method was used per w orkshops, with a practice time of 20 seconds at each workshop; the duration of the breaks between workshops was equal to the duration of the working time. Two circuits were performed in each lesson, twice a week, throughout the 4 months of the study. The u se of the circuit method in the physical education class was highly efficient, fact proved by the interest shown by the students in developing their strength in the conditions of working in circuit, aspect also demonstrated by the results obtained followin g the study. |
