Rezumat

The aim of the paper is to show the motivational ways meant to increase the efficiency of the lesson of Physical Education for the middle school students. This scientific approach led to the organization of a case study, which consisted in knowing the opinions of the students in middle school (5th – 8th grades) regarding the motivational modalities to improve the lesson of Physical Education. The study was carried out during the 2020-2021 school year (March – April 2021). The investigated group (n = 745) is formed of students from the “Miron Costin” Middle School no 12 of Galati. The results of the study highlight the ways to increase the efficiency of the Physical Education lesson, the information obtained from middle school students regarding a higher motivation level necessary for practicing the Physical Education lesson, more effective modalities to learn certain exercises and considerations on the need to improve the Physical Education lesson.
