This paper presents a few current difficulties in organizing and executing internships for engineering students, when the national industry is in transition. Until this day, a number of large national enterprises do not show an interest in supporting the higher technical education, also including the lack of internship offers. On the other hand, small and medium entrepreneurial sector show a great sign of interest in offering internships to students, to an extent as offering some students part-time jobs during their education. The new opportunities for organizing internships are about opening borders, developing partnerships between universities, academic mobility, and internship scholarships offered by multinational companies. |
