The author of the article “Some peculiarities of Gh.Ciobanu’s piano style” brings into sharp focus Gh.Ciobanu’s artistic creation. He is an outstanding Moldavian composer who harmoniously synthesizes in his compositions typical procedures and characteristic features of the various musical styles of the past and the present for the proof of own ideas, not resorting to citing or to stylization. Gh.Ciobanu, best known as a wonderful pianist, teacher and a composerpromoter, is the head of the Union of Composers ad Musicologists of Moldova since 1990. Due to his numerous concerts he contributes a lot to the spread and implementation in practice of his own musical works for piano which represents a considerable contribution to the formation of aesthetic taste and contemporary thinking of young people. He also works hard to bring up high spiritual criteria and orientation of young musicians.
