The study Slavic-Moldovan Chronograph of XV-XVI century. Demolition attempt of a historiographical stereotype signed by Andrei and Valentina Eşanu, while describing in brief fifteen slavic-romanian chronicles written in Moldova during XV-XVI century, the authors bring out evidences from chronicles content which seeks to challenge the rooted opinion in Romanian historiography concerning the exclusively official nature of royal court writings. Closer examination of well-known chronics (Serbo-Moldovan Chronicle, Chronicle of Putna with its variants I and II, etc.), and the recently discovered (Happenings over the years of fifteenth and sixteenth centuries) clearly show that these chronicles were written by anonymous authors and at their own initiative wore info rmal character.
