Th e cultural diversity, as an educational phenomenon, is a topic which is analyzed today under multiple aspects. Although, it does not promote only the instructive-educational process in high schools. Rather, it promotes the adaptation of the diff erent ethnical representatives of various communities to the cultural demands, norms and practices, which have the aim to grow the harmony in this inter-ethnical relationship. In addition to that, it follows the need to create a cultural environment suitable with the interests of all the main components of these collectivities. Th ough, cultural diversity can constitute an important objective also for the instruction and education of students in schools. Besides that, this aim can be fulfi lled very well through the extracurricular lectures. Our experience in this domain gave results that can be considerate as very good. For instance, the extracurricular lectures that I lead for History with diff erent classes and on diff erent topics proved that in this way students knowledge can be expanded to many various areas, and also they proved to be as effi cient as possible for the civic, patriotic, ecologic and aesthetic education of the students. Moreover, these sort of instructive-educative activities stimulate students’ curiosity and maintains within the spirit of cognitive and creative competitiveness. |
