As a conclusion it can be stated that the „Encyclopedia of Romania” represents an important component of the national Romanian heritage, a genuine value to which generations of scholars will refer. Th e study represents an inventory and a reference book for scholars as well as for those interested in the ancestry history. Th e encyclopedic project includes the hoarding of knowledge, in order to disseminate it. Th e national endeavor, that crosses all over the encyclopedic content of the work aims at bringing up the personality of the individual, the patriot. Th e approached topics include articles with national orientation, with a multidisciplinary character. All the topics are approached in a single structural framework. Th e study off ers truthful information from diff erent areas of knowledge, vindicating a scientifi c and informative style of high level. Th e notoriousness and contribution to the development of a scientifi c area or school were taken into consideration when choosing specialists who undersigned the articles. Whilst the editorial board that worked on this valuable study had contributed to a large extent to the national rebirth of Romania. |
