The article examines the concept of «moral ideal». The essence of the terms «morality» and «ideal» is analyzed. It is argued that the content of the concepts of «morality» and «moral ideal» are determined in accordance with the ideals of a certain society and time. It is revealed that the moral ideal embodies the best moral qualities, the perfection of personality. The main functions of the moral ideal are considered. |
