This article discusses the necessity for investigation and legal assessment of genocide,
committed during the Communist rule, on the current territory of Republic Moldova. The
author indicates that although some victims of purges and deportations, were formally rehabilitated,
people who have participated in acts of genocide, expressed by provocation hunger,
deportations natives etc. They remained unknown to the public, and about them were not taken
any legal action, and anyone have been recognized as a delinquent who committed crimes
against humanity.
There is no limitation period for criminal liability for these crimes, such as today, competent
authorities can initiate investigation acts of genocide that ware committed in every town
of country, and the society has the official right to know executioners of past generations.
