Cultural tourism is a form of tourism, which addresses cultural objectives in urban and rural areas of a region or country. Cultural tourism involves the movement of people/tourists to cultural attractions and aims to assimilate cultural information and experiences. For the development of cultural tourism it is recommended to identify and include cultural heritage in tourist itineraries, to develop and implement marketing strategies related to the specific target segments, which can be achieved through marketing principles and methods. |
