Nowadays in the Republic of Moldova is a remarkable situation of a wide political inter-party consensus that was not possible for almost 30 years. In June 2019, political forces, which during the election campaign were political opponents and expressed various geopolitical preferences, formed a post electoral coalition. In such conditions, new coalition is capable to realizing a historic chance for the Republic of Moldova to become one of the states considered sustainable, civilized, where laws are successfully functioning, the human rights and freedoms respected. Such transformations in Moldova have an importance within the current global uncertainty and in Europe, in particular. This situation enforces the Republic of Moldova to build a harmonious balanced foreign policy, to strengthen its status of permanent neutrality proclaimed by the Moldovan Constitution, and to seek its recognition at the international level following the example of such countries like Switzerland, Finland, Austria, Ireland, Malta, Turkmenistan and others. Moreover, the constitutional status of permanent neutrality is an important factor for the peaceful resolution of the existing Transnistrian conflict. In this context, the Republic of Moldova needs to elaborate a program for the development and modernization of the country’s economic potential for the next fifteen-twenty years. Among the main priorities – the creation of a unified legal democratic neutral multinational state, in which every resident would have guarantees for decent living and confidence in the future.
