Rezumat | ||||||
Enclitic use of the definite article is a specific feature in distinguishing grammatical systems of Balkan-Romance languages from Western Romance languages. The origin of the definite article in postposition, its evolution as well as the internal mechanism of the language have aroused the interest of many linguists. Thus, the definite article postposition may be motivated by the influence of languages, belonging to another linguistic group, on Balkan languages, the influence of GetoDacian substratum or Latin stratum, as well as different development ways of lingual systems. Another factor, equally important, would be the influence of syntactic rules of ancient Slavic, which we intend to analyze and elucidate in this article. |
