Public awareness of the value of human life, the importance of the full and harmonious development of the personality, physical, moral and spiritual faculties, and the need to create conditions for self-employment potential demand from science and government objective and timely identify the main strategic directions of maintaining and improving the health of human capital. In concentrated form it is a synthesis of the achieved level of «quality» image of human life and economic development of the country. The goal is the formation of theoretical approaches to the development of public-private partnership in health, as element for the preservation of human capital. The main material. The study of economic problems of health in unity with all the other problems of the national economy naturally leads to the conclusion that the development of this sector is influenced by many internal and external industry factors. In this regard, the economic and social bases of health care should be developed in conjunction with the major social goal of health protection of citizens of Ukraine and thereby to strengthen the public health of the country. The conclusions. Therefore, the most urgent problems of today the formation of the Ukrainian health system should be analysed in the broader context of the use of mechanisms and methods of public-private partnership (GPP), as it may be the main strategic directions of development of the protection of the health of the working population.
