According to the forecasts of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) Turkish government will differ by the highest growth rates from members of men-tioned organization between 2012 and 2017: Average annual GDP growth rate of Turkey is 6.7%. London‘s weekly magazine-format newspaper ‗‘The Economist‘‘ analysing the current situation in Turkey in a special report paid attention to ‗‘unusual high activity‘‘ in national economy and noted that ‗‘the country‘s growth rates will most likely be stronger than almost any other european country‘‘. GDP in Turkey grew by 8.2% in 2011, while it grew by 9.2% in Q4 of the same year. In the other words Turkey took the 3rd place in the world after China and Singapore without considering some small countries which don‘t play a big role in the world economy. |
