| Rezumat | ||||||
Article deals with issues related to the period of the Battle of Hotin in autumn 1621. Turkish Sultan decided to attack Poland as a result of the defeat of Polish army in 1620 in the Battle of Ţuţora. Poland and the Ottoman Empire were prepared for armed confrontation, although in the mobilization of troops they were big problems. Both countries have made diplomatic efforts to get help from outside, but not get the desired results. Both armies were ready for confrontation in early September, although it remains and possibilities for diplomatic settlement of the conflict. |
