Conceptually approaching the relationship "political power-social order", the study stresses the interactions of these phenomena, as well as the causes of the emergence of disfunctions between them. It is emphasized that a satisfactory social order is not only an index of a good government, but also an essential support of the continuous efficientization of the political power and the raise of its rating among diverse groups of population. Viceversa, a deffective government will end up with a maximally diminished social base, or even by loosing its legitimacy.
