| Rezumat | ||||||
The article offers an analysis of the terminology used for the designation of diplomatic missions of Moldova, also their types, and the composition of the deputations are examined. It is established that there was no official, well-established and recognized branched hierarchy of missions’ types and of the ranks of diplomatic representatives (the great envoy, envoy, emissary). The deputations were composed of three parts - 1. envoy/ envoys, 2. technical staff (secretary, translator, trusted people), 3. staff (servants, cooks, security). The composition of a diplomatic mission varied depending on its type and the significance of the mission. |
