The article focuses on the importance of the country's image, a rather complex and even controversial concept, but very relevant international affairs. It attempts to define this concept by examining the strategies and mechanisms for the construction of the country's image. From some examples, drawn from the recent past, we analyze the elements of the politicalmedia and the particularities of the activity of actors involved in the political processes.
