<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'>At the beginning of XXI century, most countries have insisted to reconsider the
international system and reviewed the concepts and strategies in the national security
field. Governments, media, civil society, academia of these countries - all were invol-
ved at different stages, in reviewing the Concepts and Strategies regarding Security.
This article is investigating the efforts of the Republic of Moldova to consolidate
its national security from the prospect of its new threats and vulnerabilities country is
facing in the new regional context. The author underlines just from the beginning of
the article that the reform of national security system should be launched with the re-
consideration and prioritization of the main security threats and vulnerabilities of the
states. Thus, the main activities in this aspect are investigated in the present article.
