This section analyzes and evaluates the relevance of social cohesion in the study of modern society. The defi nition of this new conceptual framework is refl ected in the documents of international organizations, but also national ones. It has already accumulated an academic research tradition, becoming a subject of sociological debate. The developed methodology allows the quantifi cation of the intensity and dimensions, the comparison and the establishment of the dynamics of its evolution within the modern societies. |
