The article reveals the role of art therapy as one of the effective psychotherapeutic methods in correctional and developmental work with children with special educational needs. The advantages of art therapy (visual art therapy) over other forms of psychotherapeutic work are highlighted, the functions and principles of visual art therapy in the correction of the emotional sphere of a child with special educational needs are described. |
