The modernization of education encompasses educational system as well as the educational process, because any modifications or interventions on the system will have repercussion on education process and vice versa. Circumscribing of the modernization content mentions suite of actions that necessarily is involved and determines the establishing of optimal relationships between the structural elements of education. The modernization of education concerns all its components, but it does not mean that it would be reduced to a totally simple changes and transformations that occur within the constituents: any change that occurs at the component level will have repercussions for all others because of systematic character of education. As a consequence, any intervention towards modernization can not be limited only to what happens at the level of one side or the inside of a component without having into account the possible consequences for other sides or constituent components of the system. Upgrading educational process content relates to restructuring that refers to quantity and quality of information selected and included in the school documents that regulate school curriculum. |
