În condiţiile actuale un număr din ce în ce mai mare de specialişti logopezi au devenit interesaţi de potenţialele aplicaţii terapeutice ale programelor informatice. Prin intermediul tehnologiei computerizate, se îmbunătăţeşte relaţia terapeutică. Are loc eliminarea frustrării activate de exerciţiile monotone ale terapiei clasice, ceea ce determină creşterea stimei de sine a copiilor. Utilizarea soft-ului logopedic permite focalizarea atenţiei copilului asupra activităţii terapeutice şi creează un context psihostimulativ pentru dezvoltarea limbajului.

There is elimination of the frustration activated by the monotonous exercises of classical therapy, which determines the increase of children's self-esteem. The use of speech therapy software enables focusing the child's attention on the therapeutic activity and creates a psychostimulative context for language development.
