This article, the authors consider the history of teaching Humanities in agricultural institutions on the territory of Gorki. Analyzes the curriculum since the founding of Gory-Horki agricultural school, its reorganization in the Mountains-Goretsky agricultural Institute and functioning after closing of secondary schools, presented in the form of the agricultural College surveying-takatoriki classes and vocational school. The authors draw attention to the appearance and presence of 9 Humanities disciplines in almost all curricula of agricultural institutions. It is noted that a special place was occupied by teaching such subjects as the law of God, geography, logic, German, Russian, etc. Data on the number of hours planned for their study are provided. The author notes the peculiarity of the construction of the educational process in the form of a transition from a lecture form of training to a regular one.
