Including ozonotherapy in the treatment of complex ischemic cord disease contributes to abatement of its intensity and the severity of its evolution, and improved tolerance of swelling in physical activity and in restoring the balance between lipid peroxidation processes and antioxidative protection. 55 patients were observed in this study. High clinical effectiveness, acceptable tolerance by the patient, and the lack of noticeable side-effects support the extensive use of ozonotherapy in curative procedures and rehabilitation activity. Basic treatment complemented by ozonotherapy contributes to the improvement of central and peripheral hemodinamics, the main manifestations of which are the improvement of the pump function of the left ventricle myocardium.

Includerea în procesul de tratament a 55 de pacienţi cu CPI ozonoterapiei induce diminuarea expresivităţii tuturor manifestărilor clinice ale patologiei date, a gravităţii evoluţiei maladiei. De asemenea, creşte toleranţa la efort fizic şi se restabileşte echilibrul dinamic între procesele POL şi activitatea sistemului de protecţie antioxidant. Efect clinic pronunţat, toleranţă satisfăcătoare şi inofensivitate la administrare sunt motive pentru administrarea pe larg a ozonoterapiei în cadrul măsurilor curativ-profilactice, în tratamentul pacienţilor cu CPI. Terapia de bază cu ozon ameliorează indicii hemodinamicii centrale şi celei periferice care se manifestă prin ameliorarea funcţiei de pompă a miocardului ventriculului stâng.
