This study examines the key aspects of the sociopolitical modernization of the Republic of Moldova in the context of the transition to democracy. The author emphasizes the role and importance of post-communist systemic transition and systemic transformations in the democratization and modernization of society, on the specificity of the transition-modernization relation in the conditions of the Republic of Moldova. At the same time, a special analysis is undergoing the mechanism of sociopolitical modernization at the present stage, but also the rhythms and types of modernization and post-modernization under the conditions of democratic transition. A separate section of the current publication is dedicated to the dimensions of the sociopolitical modernization of the Republic of Moldova in the context of the implementation of the Association Agreement between the Republic of Moldova and the European Union. Analysis and evaluation of modernization processes in connection with transition processes and European integration processes offer the publication a complex, largely innovative, character. |
