In the context of the investigations at the compartment, the impact and effects of totalitarian cultural policy on the national identity-value crisis were elucidated. The specific invariants of the paradigm of socialist realism manifest to the national context, and the way of human adoption and adaptation to a cultural pattern and the types of perception and assimilation of cultural deferens have been configured. It has been shown that the value identity crisis of the dictatorial regime was animated not only by external factors – communist ideology, propaganda, censorship, the canonical rigors of socialist realism, but also by internal ones – competition, conflicts, envy within the national intellectual elite.
