Sunflower broomrape (Orobanche cumana Wallr) is a fully parasitic dicotyledonous plant that is extremely harmful to sunflowers. Since it was first observed in Voronev, Russia in 1866, it has been widely distributed in many countries around the world. Sunflowers have been severely affected in many countries including Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Greece, Turkey, Moldova, Hungary, Israel, China, and many other countries. The harm caused serious economic losses. Since the discovery of sunflower broomrape in Zhaozhou County, Heilongjiang Province in 1959, with the large-scale continuous cropping of sunflowers, many sunflower growing areas in China have been severely damaged by sunflowers broomrape. It has existed in China for more than 60 years and has had a huge impact on sunflower production. Moldova first discovered sunflower broomrape in the southern region in the late 1930s, then gradually expanded to the middle, then gradually expanded to the middle, which still endangers Moldova's sunflowers. In the research process of sunflower broomrape, because of its multiple physiological races differentiation, the prevention and control are different. Moreover, in different countries and different locations, sunflower broomrapes are different. The identification of the physiological race type will have a significant impact on prevention and control. In the course of daily research on sunflower broomrape, we found that there may be some differences in the shape (size, size) between sunflower broomrape seeds. With this idea, a series of experiments were planned and implemented. Research from the perspective of morphology, verify the initial conjecture that sunflower broomrape seeds in different regions or different physiological races may have different sizes, and use microscopy and computer software to assist in size measurement. After a period of statistical measurement, a preliminary analysis of the data was made, and some differences were found, which further verified the initial hypothesis, which may be true. However, the analysis has not yet been completed and the final results have not been obtained. Further analysis is required to reach a final conclusion. |
