As a result of the technological processes in SC Doljchim SA Chemical Plant are obtained a number of chemical fertilizers based on ammonium nitrate and urea. The technologic output is marked by some byproducts, different waste waters with high levels of dissolved chemical pollutants. In order to evacuate these waters in the collector channel, and from there on in the river Jiu, these waters must be properly purified, and all along they must also be under strict monitorization, especially regarding some major important chemical compounds, showing the water’s pollution degree. In the present paper we shall refer to biological water purification as well as the delivery factor for this type of cleaning in order to obtain sufficient clean water. As it follows we can distinctly see that CCO-Cr, CBO5 parameters are good enough, while NH4 + , NO3 - still has to improve. |
