Rezumat

Inmodern times, with the annexation of Bessarabia to the Tsarist Empire privilegedstrata of the population was forced to obtaine quality in rights with Russian nobility. One of the landownerswho wanted toobtainthenobletitlewas Carabetson of Christopher Anush. Landownerof Armenian origin, Carabet transferred with the family from Bender to Moldavia. In 1839 Carabet Anush, already inhabitant of Bessarabia, submit the oathof faith to tsaristcrown. To demonstrate thenobility he brings aswitnessthathereceived the title ofbig "Comis" in 1828 from Prince of Moldavia Scarlat Sturdza and his father, faith ful service was end owedby Prince of Moldavia Alexander Moruzi in 1803 with the title of "Căminar". In his applications submitted to the Assembly of Deputies of Nobility from Bessarabia Carabet Anush states thatheis married tothe daughter ofa landowner of Austrian origin Bogdan Butuşanu – annieand hehas foursons – Gregory, Bogdan, Leon, Christopher, and a daughterMaryand he bought the property Bumbăta andZazuleniin Iasicountry. After an extensive research the Chamber of Deputies decided togive him the noble title conditioning, with the completion of the filewith the necessary documents. Not just because of the lackofbirth certificate of Carabet Anush and the certificate that would provehis father's title of "Căminar" the Chamber of Deputies refusedto grant himthe nobletitle, but mostly because Carabet Anush was awarded with the title big "Comis" in 1828, when Bessarabia was alreadyin composition of the tsarist Empire. Furthermore, the researches of the Interior Ministry made awarethat in 1822 the family Anush was still living in the community Armenian-Gregorian from Bender. Despite the fact that the family Carabet Anush has not obtained the right to bein scribedin the book of genealogical local nobility, however Carabet showed perseverancein gettingthe rightstudy of his children in St. Petersburg. In 1856 Carabet Anus became the owner of Sadâc and Enichioi villages, of a a small village named Haraghiş and of the un populated land Larguta. In 1857, Carabet Anush purchases new estates – Old Cobusca and a part of New Cobusca (Bender county) and Cimişeni (Chișinau county), then in 1858 Carabet Anush becomes the owner of the village Topal (Cimișlia, Bender county). Three years later, he purchases the sixth part of the estate Prajila (Soroca county). Carabet Anush has the right to participate at the elections in Iași and Bender county because he was a landowning. In 1859, in his last request to the Bessarabian Nobility Assembly Deputies to obtain the noble title, he mentions he is the owns a building in the II-nd district in Chisinau. If during his lifetime Carabet Anush was not awarded the noble title, its purpose was acomplished by his children. In 1895 Christopher’s request, son of Carabet Anus, to the Bessarabian Nobility Assembly Deputies, to achieve the noble title was solved positively. The younger children Egor and Ekaterina, have obtained the same title. Thus, the research of Carabet Anus’s family ascension, during almost a century, we found the following components: 1. Christopher (Christopher, Hristea Hacichean) Anus (Anuşeaţ), married to Prapiona Anus; 2. Carabet (Gherasim) Anus (b. 1810, married to Anna Butuşan (daughter of Bogdan Butuşan, Austrian nobleman); 3. Children: a. Gregory (b. 1833 ); b. Bogdan (b. 1836); c. Leon (b.1837); d. Christopher/Christopher (b.1841); e. Maria (b. ? ) f. Ghevorg (Egor) (b. 1855); g. Catherine (b. 857). Anush familyis mentioned in the works of Ion Pelivan and Gh. Bezviconi aslandowners from Iaşi country, then Bălţi from Bessarabia region. The governor Urusov speaks about theminhis memories. We candeducethe fruitfuland importantworkof this familyvduringvthe nineteenthvcentury with active implications socio-economic and cultural. Although Christ's descendant sAnush were shotby the Bolsheviks during the revolution of October 1917, in the village behind them remained the church founded bythem in the village Bumbăta and remained the village Hristoforofca, createdon the estate of Christopher Anush, Carabet's son, grandsonof Christ (Christopher) Anush.
