The activity of the teacher is detached by an extremely strong human dimension, which implies both knowledge and skills, as well as attitudes, values, ethos, that is professional conscience. The new standards imposed by the European educational community and the anchoring of the teacher in the realities of the third millennium demand new professional competences regarding a wide range of interhuman relations, significant being the socio-educational ones, which will support the multifunctional links of the school with the community and social environment. In order to guarantee the success of young people in the role of parent, it is necessary to educate them in advance. The teachers involvement is necessary today through parenting prevention programs for teens determined by prestige lowering of parentally and family values, as well as the incidence of pregnancy cases to young girls. |
