Rezumat

The purpose of the article is to illustrate the concept of circular economy and its forms of manifestation, in a transition process, from the linear model to the regenerative-circular model, which allows for the involvement and valorisation of all feasible sources of finance in an economy centered on the regeneration of environmental resources at the level of the Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion. The concept of resource circularity is closely related to the field of integrative-regenerative industrial ecology by referring to the concepts specific to cleaner production, the analysis of entropic material flows, as well as the specific indicators for absolute and relative dematerialization. The implementation of circular business models at the Siret-Prut-Nistru Euroregion requires significant financial investment. Although there is interest from investors to meet these needs, there are also several barriers that companies face when it comes to accessing finance.
