Rezumat | ||||||
Implementation and continuous improvement of internal quality management system (QMS) is a necessity and a requirement for higher education institutions (HEI) stipulated by the Bologna Process. This paper discusses family of standards ISO 9001 – quality management, as a possible framework for establishment of QMS in HEI. Reasons, difficulties and benefits for implementing ISO 9001 standards in HEI as well as critics of doing so are analyzed. There are examined the principles of quality management, structure of the documents and main components of QMS in HEI according to ISO standards. |
