In terms of global trends with clearly pronounced direction properties, which has a special value for the preservation and promotion of health, the role of the whey as a product with proven functional properties has increased significantly. This is the reason why whey and its active components are increasingly used in human food and animal feed, pharmaceuticals and biotechnology. Modern developments in biochemistry, microbiology and more sophisticated technologies are integrated in the whey industry and allow the manufacturing of high quality and safe food products. |
