Globalisation represents an inevitable process of humankind development affecting the whole world and every individual on the planet. Whatever the level of development the states have, they should adapt to new competitive conditions the globalisation has brought on as not to become isolated and economically outdated. The new competitive conditions among the countries are exemplified through their efficiency in terms of legislation, administration, justice, taxation, healthcare, education, etc. All these sectors’ efficiency is based on innovation which is an essential condition of socio-economic development and economic progress. Innovation related activities depend vitally on the level of development of countries’ educational systems which are challenged by the globalisation. The success of educational systems, and particularly of the higher education, in tackiling the challenges imposed by globalisation will determine the destiny and future of the society. |
