Rezumat

The current paper presents a synthesis of theoretical and practical approaches to conflict management in organizations, conducted by the method of studying the literature on the topic, but also through guided observations in 3 public institutions, in which the authors work. It summarizes the causes of conflicts, conflict diagnosis, types and models of conflicts, treated based on recent researches. Practical References: can serve as a basis for improving the organizational culture, from the perspective of an efficient and participatory management of intra-organizational conflicts. Conflict management is the first approach to conflict that incorporates a proactive perspective. For the management team, it is important to understand its sources, assess its impact, adapt to its pressures and make decisions in line with current objectives and issues, remaining within the political and legal limits of their competence. However, this initiative, together with other efforts to address public sector conflicts, needs to be continued.
